Biography: Qasam represents sponsors, buyers and sellers on a wide range of secondaries transactions. He regularly provides advice on complex secondaries transactions across asset classes. His practice involves structuring, negotiating and documenting complex business transactions in the private funds secondary market, including GP-led secondaries, LP portfolio sales and tender offers. With a global practice, Qasam has led significant secondaries transactions worldwide while tailoring his advice based on his clients’ liquidity needs and business objectives. Qasam also advises U.K. and international fund managers on a range of issues, including the structuring and establishment of private investment funds investing across all major strategies, in addition to the carried interest and co-investment plans associated with such funds. He also advises on a broad range of other transactions relating to private investment funds, including LP investments and fund restructurings.
